About the role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Sr. Analyst is responsible for providing our asset management team with finance support. You will be the finance expert of the Westbow Group of Companies’ existing rental portfolio and income funds as well as participate in the acquisition process.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensuring the following financial tasks and processes are being conducted efficiently with focus on continuous improvement and quality: acquisition process, monthly cash forecasts , monthly budget variance analysis, monthly financial statement reporting, updates NAV calculations & reports quarterly for all funds, updates ROI forecasts and partnership waterfall forecasts for all funds, assists with pricing of trust/LP units
  • Identifies financial issues and makes recommendations to the asset management team to improve asset performance
  • Oversees and reviews all properties through the proforma process
  • Manages and drives financing applications for acquired assets
  • Analyzing data and presenting results and recommendations clearly and concisely
  • Prepares financial models and forecasts for potential new funds
  • Ensures IRC matters are documented and addressed
  • Ensures funds are compliant with management, valuation, governance and all other related policies/agreements
  • Leading or participating in value added ad hoc projects, including process improvements, implementation, and analysis of KPIs and implementation of technology solutions

 

 

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting job related role
  • Post secondary bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
  • CPA Candidate is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong work ethic with a sense of responsibility and confidentiality

Salary Range: $80,000-110,000 per year
