About the role
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Leasing Agent will work with the site teams to find prospective tenants for our properties. With a focus on building relationships this role will be committed to ensuring tenant pipelines and targets are being met and working with the team to assure our residents get the best experience in our homes.

What you’ll be doing
- Communicate, screen and qualify prospective tenants
- Proactively build and maintain a tenant pipeline
- Process lease applications and ensuring all information is entered into our system (Yardi).
- Completing landlord and employer references checks, and credit checks on new tenant prospects
- Facilitating showings of available units highlighting the key differentiators
- Collecting and organizing important documents and payments
What we’re looking for
- 1-2 years for previous leasing experience
- Strong customer service skills, warm and personable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a quick paced, demanding, and ever-changing environment
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
- Previous sales, marketing or customer service experience is considered an asset
- Experience using Yardi is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
